First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a person's own muscle cells into the tongue can safely improve swallowing problems caused by throat cancer treatment. It includes 18 adults who finished cancer therapy at least two years ago. The main goal is to check for side effects over 12 months, with a secondary look at whether swallowing function gets better.
