Cancer-Free patients test stopping myeloma drugs in groundbreaking trial
NCT ID NCT04108624
Summary
This study aims to see if multiple myeloma patients who show no detectable cancer after stem cell transplant can safely stop their long-term maintenance medications. Researchers will use advanced blood and imaging tests to identify patients with the lowest possible cancer levels. If successful, this could allow some patients to live medication-free while closely monitoring for any cancer return.
