First seen Jun 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at 120 adults with teeth that have both root and gum infections. It compared two root canal filling materials—MTA and a standard resin sealer—to see which helps the tooth heal better after one year. The researchers checked healing on X-rays, measured gum pocket depth, and tested fluid from the gums for signs of inflammation.
