First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tests a new medicine called MT1013 for people with secondary hyperparathyroidism who are on dialysis. The goal is to see if MT1013 works better than the current standard drug, cinacalcet, at lowering parathyroid hormone levels. About 424 adults will take either MT1013 or cinacalcet for 26 weeks, and researchers will check hormone levels, bone density, and safety. This is a phase 3 trial, meaning it's one of the final steps before the drug could be approved.
