First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested a new injection called MT1013 in 115 adults with chronic kidney disease who are on dialysis and have secondary hyperparathyroidism (overactive parathyroid glands). The goal was to see if the drug could safely lower high parathyroid hormone levels by at least 30%. Participants received either MT1013, an active comparator, or a placebo. The results help determine if this drug can better control the hormone imbalance that often complicates kidney disease.
