Summary

This phase 3 study tested an oral drug called MT-6548 (vadadustat) in 24 adults on hemodialysis in Japan who have anemia due to chronic kidney disease. The goal was to see if the drug can raise and keep hemoglobin levels in a healthy range. Participants took the pill and had their blood levels checked regularly.
