This study tested whether adding canagliflozin to the existing drug teneligliptin helps Japanese adults with type 2 diabetes who still have high blood sugar. 138 participants took both drugs daily for 24 weeks. The main goal was to see if the combination improved HbA1c levels, a key measure of blood sugar control.
