First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tests whether infusions of cord blood stem cells can help people with moderate to critical COVID-19 pneumonia. About 65 adults with COVID-19-related lung distress will receive either stem cells plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal is to see if the stem cells reduce serious side effects and improve recovery.
