New scan study aims to improve cancer detection methods

NCT ID NCT06630845

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of MRI scan can detect cancer spread as well as the standard PET scan. Researchers will compare both scans in 30 people with metastatic cancer to see if they find the same areas of disease. The goal is to understand if MRI could become another reliable way to monitor cancer progression.
