New scan method aims to sharpen aim of lung cancer radiation

Summary
This study is testing if a special type of MRI scan can better show how a lung tumor moves when a person breathes, compared to the standard CT scan. The goal is to help doctors more precisely target radiation therapy to the tumor while avoiding healthy tissue. About 150 adults already scheduled for a specific type of radiation treatment for a lower lung tumor will have extra scans for research. The study will not change their treatment plan.
