NCT ID NCT04265430

First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether regular MRI scans after radiation therapy can help predict damage to healthy tissue in people with mouth or skull base tumors. Researchers will track changes in the jawbone and nearby areas to see if MRI can catch early signs of a condition called osteoradionecrosis. About 425 adults who are getting radiation will join this study at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
