Scientists test if quicker brain scans are just as good

NCT ID NCT04907487

Summary

This study tested whether a faster MRI scanning technique, called compressed sensing, could produce the same quality brain images as the standard, longer method. It involved 82 adults who were already scheduled for a routine brain MRI. Researchers added extra, shorter scan sequences to their regular MRI appointment to compare the image results.
