MRI scans could warn of radiation damage before It's too late

Summary
This study aims to see if regular MRI scans after radiation treatment can predict which patients will develop serious bone damage in the jaw or skull. Researchers will follow 425 patients with head or skull base cancers, taking MRIs before, during, and for years after their standard radiation therapy. The goal is to find early warning signs on the scans that could allow doctors to prevent or better manage this painful side effect.
