MRI could tell doctors if chemo is working after just one dose

NCT ID NCT07202845

Summary

This study aims to see if special MRI scans taken early in chemotherapy treatment can predict whether a patient's muscle-invasive bladder cancer will respond. Researchers will scan 39 patients before treatment, 24 hours after their first chemotherapy dose, and after completing chemo, then compare the scans to surgical results. The goal is to identify patients who won't benefit from chemo early, so they can avoid unnecessary side effects and delays to surgery.
