NCT ID NCT06994702
First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study checked whether the plastic masks used to hold the head still during brain radiotherapy affect the quality of MRI scans needed for treatment planning. Three healthy volunteers had MRI scans with and without two types of masks. The goal was to see if the masks cause errors in the synthetic CT images used to calculate radiation doses.
