Precision radiation aims to zap spinal tumors, spare patients from surgery
NCT ID NCT06077071
Summary
This study is testing a specialized type of radiation therapy guided by real-time MRI scans. The goal is to see if this precise treatment can shrink tumors that are pressing on the spinal cord, potentially eliminating the need for major surgery. It will involve 24 adult patients with certain solid tumors that have spread to the spine but are not yet causing severe nerve damage.
