This study tested whether using MRI to guide focused ultrasound waves through the urethra could safely destroy prostate cancer tumors. It involved 25 men with early-stage prostate cancer who received this targeted treatment. Researchers followed them for 1-2 years to check if cancer cells remained and monitored side effects like urinary and sexual function.
