Could advanced scans replace kidney biopsies for diabetes patients?
NCT ID NCT06452862
Summary
This study is testing whether special MRI scans can help doctors better diagnose and monitor kidney damage in people with diabetes. Researchers will scan 80 diabetic patients at different stages of kidney disease and follow them during treatment. The goal is to create a non-invasive method that combines imaging with blood tests to track disease progression without needing biopsies.
