Safer scan for Kids' brain tumors could replace risky dye

NCT ID NCT07427316

Summary

This study is testing a special type of MRI scan that doesn't require contrast dye to see if it can accurately determine how aggressive a child's brain tumor is before surgery. Researchers will compare the scan results with the actual tumor analysis after it's removed. The goal is to provide doctors with better information for planning treatment while avoiding the potential risks of contrast agents in children.
