First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study follows 100 adults with acute myeloid leukemia who have had a stem cell transplant. Researchers use a highly sensitive DNA test (digital PCR) to look for tiny amounts of leukemia-related mutations in the blood at several time points during the first year after transplant. The goal is to see if this test can predict relapse earlier than current methods, helping doctors act sooner.
