Blood test may spare stomach cancer patients from unnecessary chemo

Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test that detects tiny traces of cancer DNA (called ctDNA) can help doctors decide which patients with advanced stomach cancer can safely skip chemotherapy after surgery. About 90 adults with stage III or IV stomach cancer will be enrolled. The goal is to see if using this test reduces unnecessary chemo side effects while keeping cancer from coming back.
