New drug combo aims to control Tough-to-Treat blood cancers

Summary
This study tests a combination of three drugs (venetoclax, obinutuzumab, and possibly acalabrutinib) in people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma that has come back or not responded to prior treatment. The goal is to see if the treatment can eliminate signs of cancer in the blood and improve survival. About 40 participants will receive the drugs, with treatment adjusted based on how well the cancer responds.
