NCT ID NCT07132073
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests a precise radiation technique that uses MRI guidance to treat unfavorable prostate cancer. It combines two types of radiation (brachytherapy and SBRT) to improve convenience and reduce side effects. The goal is to keep 85% of the 40 participants cancer-free for 5 years while lowering severe urinary and rectal problems. The approach is designed for patients who are not ideal candidates for standard high-dose therapy, such as older or frail individuals.
