Precision radiation aims to tame tough prostate cancer with fewer side effects
NCT ID NCT07132073
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new way to deliver radiation for men with unfavorable prostate cancer. It combines two advanced techniques—MR-guided brachytherapy and SBRT—to target the tumor more precisely. The goal is to keep cancer under control for at least 5 years in 85% of patients, while lowering the risk of serious urinary and rectal side effects. About 40 men with intermediate to very high-risk prostate cancer will take part.
