Scientists test advanced MRI to spot liver cancer clues

NCT ID NCT07368049

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study uses a special MRI machine to take pictures of the liver using phosphorus and sodium signals. Researchers will compare images from people with liver cancer and healthy volunteers to see if these scans can help tell them apart. The goal is to learn more about how liver cancer looks on these new scans, not to treat the disease.
