Summary
This study is testing the safety and immune response of a new mpox vaccine called MVA-SIBP. It will enroll 180 healthy children and adults in the Democratic Republic of the Congo who have never had mpox or a related vaccine. The goal is to gather data to support approval of an affordable and stable vaccine for Africa, where mpox is a significant health burden.
