Scientists hunt for immune clues to beat rare blood cancers

NCT ID NCT07590986

First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system responds to myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), a group of rare blood cancers. Researchers will collect blood and bone marrow samples from 150 adults with MPN and healthy volunteers to find immune cells that recognize cancer cells. The goal is to identify targets for future immune-based treatments. Participants will not receive direct medical benefit, but the findings could help develop new therapies.
