First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding the drug MP-513 (Teneligliptin) to standard sulfonylurea treatment helps control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. About 194 Japanese adults aged 20-75 took part, and the main goal was to see changes in HbA1c (a long-term blood sugar measure) after 12 weeks, with some continuing for up to 52 weeks. The approach aims to improve diabetes management, not cure the disease.
