Summary
This study tested a new medication called MP-513 (Teneligliptin) in 324 Japanese adults with type 2 diabetes. The goal was to see if the drug could safely lower blood sugar levels over 12 weeks compared to a placebo. Researchers measured changes in HbA1c (a long-term blood sugar marker) and fasting glucose to find the best dose for future larger studies.
