Summary
This study tested a single dose of moxidectin in 36 children aged 4 to 17 years living in areas with river blindness (onchocerciasis). The goal was to find a dose for children 4-11 years that works as well as the 8 mg dose used in older people. Researchers measured drug levels in the blood and checked for side effects to ensure safety.
