Summary
This study aimed to find the right dose of the medication moxidectin for children aged 4 to 11 years to treat river blindness (onchocerciasis). Researchers tested a single oral dose in 36 children and teenagers in Ghana to see how their bodies processed the drug and to check for safety. The goal was to match the effective adult dose for younger patients to help control this parasitic infection.
