First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether rinsing with cold water (15-20°C) reduces mouth soreness and pain better than room-temperature water in 200 people receiving radiation for head and neck cancer. Participants will gargle four times daily for six weeks. The goal is to see if cold water can make treatment more comfortable and reduce interruptions.
