Jaw device promises deeper sleep for desk workers

NCT ID NCT07359638

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether a custom mouthpiece that gently moves the lower jaw forward during sleep can improve sleep quality, heart rate patterns, and blood oxygen levels. Twenty-four healthy adults aged 40-65 with desk jobs will wear the device and a placebo for comparison. The goal is to see if this simple approach can help people sleep better and recover more fully at night.
