Can thinking about movement ease your back pain? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07111286
Summary
This study is testing if adding 'motor imagery'—mentally practicing movements without physically doing them—to a standard back pain rehab program helps people feel better. It will involve 72 adults with long-term low back pain. Researchers want to see if this mental practice improves movement control, reduces pain and fear of movement, and boosts quality of life more than the standard program alone.
