First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether training physical and occupational therapists in a counseling method called motivational interviewing helps people with spinal cord injuries or disorders engage more actively in their rehab sessions. Researchers will compare participation and recovery outcomes between patients whose therapists received this training and those who did not. The goal is to see if better communication can improve rehab results and community reintegration after discharge.
