Veterans' suicide study tests new talk therapy

Summary
This study tests a revised version of motivational interviewing, a type of counseling, to see if it can lower suicide attempts and suicidal thoughts in high-risk veterans. About 470 veterans will be randomly assigned to receive this therapy or high-quality usual care. The goal is to find a better way to support veterans in crisis.
