Summary
This study tests whether motivational interviewing, a counseling style that encourages behavior change, can help new hearing aid users wear their devices more often and improve their quality of life. Researchers will enroll 180 adults aged 18 and older who are new to hearing aids. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either motivational interviewing or standard care, and their hearing aid use and satisfaction will be tracked over time.
