Summary

This study looks at whether motivational interviewing—a supportive, goal-oriented conversation style—can help older adults (65+) who live alone feel less lonely, manage daily tasks more easily, and enjoy a better quality of life. About 60 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the interviews or usual care. The study is not yet recruiting.
