Summary
This study tested if playing a recording of a mother's voice could help calm children and reduce confusion when they wake up from tonsil surgery. Researchers compared 80 children who heard their mother's voice during recovery to those who did not. The goal was to see if the familiar voice could ease anxiety and post-anesthesia delirium.
