NCT ID NCT06921434
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at how two popular sweeteners—monk fruit and Splenda—affect the acidity of saliva and the growth of cavity-causing bacteria. Healthy young adults (ages 20-24) with no active cavities will rinse with a sweetener solution, and their saliva will be tested before and after. The goal is to see which sweetener is kinder to teeth.
