First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at how stress and anxiety during pregnancy might affect the placenta and the health of both mother and baby. Researchers will measure stress hormones, immune markers, and signs of inflammation in the blood and placenta of 150 pregnant military women. The goal is to understand these connections, not to test a new treatment.
