New combo therapy aims to boost lymphoma treatment
NCT ID NCT04546620
First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding the targeted drug acalabrutinib to standard chemotherapy (R-CHOP) helps people with untreated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma live longer without the cancer growing. About 450 adults will receive one cycle of R-CHOP, then two-thirds will also take acalabrutinib pills for five more cycles. The goal is to see if the combination works better than standard therapy alone.
