Virtual jaw simulator could spot hidden jaw pain early

NCT ID NCT07499869

First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 4D virtual simulator called Modjaw® can help doctors diagnose temporomandibular disorders (TMD) — problems with the jaw joint and muscles. About 20 adults who may have a displaced jaw disc will use the device, and results will be compared with MRI scans. The goal is to see if this tool makes diagnosis easier and faster, so patients can get treatment sooner.
