New asthma drug aims to stop attacks and achieve Long-Term remission

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called depemokimab for people with Type 2 asthma who are at risk of asthma attacks. The goal is to see if adding this drug to standard care can reduce attacks, help patients achieve remission (no attacks and no need for steroid pills), and slow lung function decline. About 456 adults and teens will take part for up to 156 weeks.
