First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study compares a modified tumescent technique (MT-TAPP) with the standard laparoscopic TAPP method for repairing inguinal hernias. Sixty adults with a single-sided hernia will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal is to see which technique leads to less pain, fewer fluid collections (seromas), and a faster return to normal activities.
