Heart surgery on wheels: no X-Rays, no hospital needed?

Summary
This study tests a new way to close a common heart hole (atrial septal defect) using only ultrasound, without X-rays or cuts. The procedure is done inside a specially equipped mobile surgical unit, bringing care to remote areas. About 300 people aged 8 and older will take part to see if the mobile approach works as well as the standard hospital procedure.
