Summary
This study tested a mobile health program for overweight or obese pregnant women to help them gain a healthy amount of weight during pregnancy. Two hundred women used a smartphone app with diet and exercise guidance, plus a fitness tracker, for about six months. The goal was to see if this approach leads to better weight control and fewer pregnancy complications compared to standard care.
