Mobile clinic brings lifesaving care to people who inject drugs

NCT ID NCT04804072

Summary

This study tested whether a mobile health clinic could better connect people who inject drugs with opioid addiction to essential care. It compared delivering addiction medication and HIV treatment/prevention directly in a mobile unit to providing referrals to community clinics. The goal was to see if the mobile approach helped more people start and stay on their medications.
