First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested whether a mobile app or a friendly explanation (tell-show-do) works better to calm children aged 7-11 during their first dental visit. 114 kids in Karachi were randomly assigned to use the app or hear the explanation before a checkup. Researchers measured their pulse and anxiety levels to see which method helped more.
