Phone-Based support system aims to keep HIV undetectable
NCT ID NCT05427318
Summary
This study tested whether a mobile app combined with remote peer support could help Hispanic and Black people living with HIV stay on their medication and keep the virus suppressed. Researchers compared this digital support system to usual care for 309 participants over 12 months. The goal was to see if this approach could improve long-term health outcomes and access to care, especially for those who also use substances.
